Lionsville Architect for macOS, Windows and Linux. Free to use for any purpose: no account, no key, no telemetry.

Every installer

macOS

  • macOS (Apple silicon)lionsville-architect-mac-arm64.dmgFor Macs with Apple silicon. There is no build for Macs with an Intel processor.

Windows

Linux

  • Linux (.deb)lionsville-architect-linux-amd64.debFor Debian and Ubuntu. On Ubuntu 24.04 and later, take this one: it is installed, so it carries the AppArmor profile that lets the app start. It does not update itself; take the new one from this page.
  • Linux (AppImage)lionsville-architect-linux-x86_64.AppImageFor other distributions. It runs in place, with no install step — and so, on Ubuntu 24.04 and later, without the profile it needs to start.

Check what you downloaded

The macOS and Windows installers are signed. The Linux ones are not, so verify them against the published checksums: there is one for every installer.

SHA256SUMS — the checksum of every installer

On Linux, with the checksums and the installer in the same folder:

sha256sum --ignore-missing -c SHA256SUMS

Updates

The app looks for a newer version and tells you when there is one. It downloads and installs it only when you say so, and nothing happens behind your back.

The source

The source of its core is open under the AGPL-3.0 licence, on GitHub, for anyone who wants to read it or build the app themselves. The app on this page is published by Lionsville under its own licence, which lets anyone use it for free, for any purpose.
